The Wayne County Democratic Precinct Delegates group is a unifying body comprised of precinct delegates from every city within Wayne County. Our purpose is to recruit, train, and actively engage precinct delegates to build a stronger, more connected, and better-informed grassroots network. Through collaboration, education, and strategic organizing, we aim to empower delegates to be effective leaders in their communities.

Our ultimate goal is to increase voter turnout across Wayne County in 2025 and beyond, ensuring that every voice is heard, every vote is counted, and every resident has the information and support they need to participate in our democracy. By strengthening the foundation of our local Democratic infrastructure, we are building a more inclusive, engaged, and impactful future for Wayne County.

Our Approach

The Wayne County Democratic Precinct Delegates' approach is centered on grassroots empowerment, collaborative leadership, and strategic organizing. We are committed to building political power from the ground up by ensuring every city and township in Wayne County is represented, with larger cities having multiple advisory members to reflect their communities. Through monthly meetings, leadership development opportunities, and voter engagement efforts, we equip precinct delegates with the tools they need to lead locally and statewide. By fostering strong relationships with elected officials, community organizations, and one another, we create a network of sustained engagement that doesn't end after an election. Our goal is to build a lasting infrastructure that empowers precinct delegates to become lifelong civic leaders, deeply rooted in their communities and connected to a broader movement for change.
